D1 BEIJING
Upon arrive in Beijing International Airport, met by local guide and transferred to the Hotel.
D2 BEIJING (B, L)
After breakfast, visit to the Tian An Men Square, and then enter the imperial-red walls of the ornate Forbidden City, the emperor’s palace – off limits to commoners for centuries. Think of the processions of incense-bearing priests at the Temple of Heaven, where the emperor went to humble himself in prayer to guarantee realm’s good harvests
D3 BEIJING (B)
You will begin you full day city tour with the Summer Palace, a majestic sight that is packed with visitors every summer; this royal garden was the darling to many of China's emperors and empresses. Afternoon free at leisure.
D4 BEIJING (B)
Enjoy your full-day excursion to the ancient Great Wall, originally built as protection from the huns and other tribes and never completely fulfilling its purpose. Afternoon free at leisure.
D5 BEIJIGN – XIAN (B)
The morning is free at leisure before transferring to your train to Xian, center of China’s world from the 11th century BC to the early 10th century AD, and gateway to the Silk Road that connected ancient China to the markets of the Mediterranean. Overnight on the train in the deluxe sleeper berth.
D6 XIAN (B, L)
A Thrilling day has you visiting the excavation site of Xian’s resident army of 8000 terra cotta soldiers, each soldier haunting in his individuality and many equipped with chariots and horses. Also tour the Shan Xi Province Museum and Forest of Steles
D7 XIAN – DUNHUANG (B,L)
The morning is free at leisure before transferring to your flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival at Dunhuang, met by local guide and transferred to the Hotel. Then you will have tour to the Singing Sand dunes, which are famous for the sounds the wind makes when blowing over the dunes, and Crescent moon spring, which is quite literally an oasis in the desert. The spring's name derives from the crescent moon shape the small pool of spring water has taken between two large sand dunes.
D8 DUNHUANG – URUMQI (B, L)
After breakfast in hotel, you will have a full day tour to Mogao Grottoes, Yumen Pass, Han dynasty Great Wall. The Mogao Grottoes also known as the Thousand Buddha Caves, constitute one of the three major Buddhist grotto sites in China. Han dynasty Great Wall with Yumen Pass, used to be one of the two critical defensive passes protecting Dunhuang from invasion from the West about two thousand years ago. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Urumqi. Upon arrival in Urumqi, met by local guide and transferred to the Hotel
D9 URUMQI – TURPAN (B, L)
After break fast in the hotel you will be transferred (bus or train) to 115 km northeast of Urumqi, in which Situated the Heavenly Mountain and famous Heavenly Lake, which is arguably one of the nicest spots in all of China. The huge clear water lake, the pine trees covering the hillsides and the snow capped mountains in the background make this a spectacular sight-reminiscent of Switzerland or the Rocky mountains but somehow with more vibrancy and color. You will also take a boat cruise in the Heavenly Lake. Afterwards you will be transferred to Turpan. Overnight at Hotel.
D10 TURPAN (B, L)
You will visit Gaochang and Jiaohe ancient city, today, which are well-preserved site and more atmospheric spots to wander and imagine times gone by than. Afterwards your tour will be full of sightseeing, which includes Astana tombs, Thousand Buddha Caves, Flaming Mountain, Emin Minaret, Karez well
D11 TURPAN - URUMQI (B, L)
You will have full day excursion to Southern Pastures, Kazak tent, in the evening, you will be transferred back (bus or train) to Urumqi
D12 URUMQI – SHANGHAI (B)
The morning is free at leisure before transferring to your flight to Shanghai, the economic, financial and cultural center of China. Upon arrival in Shanghai, met by local guide and
transferred to the Hotel. After lunch at local restaurant, you will have sightseeing on the Bund, the symbol of Shanghai and an epitome of the city’s modern history. Then you can enjoy yourselves on the romantic Riverside Avenue from where you can have a clear look at the Gallery of World’s Architecture by the side of the Bund. Afterwards you will visit Yuyuan Garden known as “the mountain in the city”.
D13 SHANGHAI (B, L)
Visit the People’s Square, the political and cultural center of Shanghai. The Shanghai Museum in the People’s Square is the next place to visit, from which you can learn the splendid history and Chinese culture. Enjoy an acrobatic show this evening.
D14 SHANGHAI – HOME (B)
After breakfast, free at leisure until be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
